What is the difference between a DC fan and an AC fan?

2022-06-27

Many people confuse DC fans with AC fans, but they are not the same. What is the difference between a DC fan and an AC fan?
1. Different working principles
The DC fan converts electrical energy into machinery through DC voltage and electromagnetic induction to drive the blade rotation. The coil and IC are constantly switched, and the inductive magnetic ring drives the blade rotation. Ac fan is driven by AC power supply, voltage will be positive and negative, completely independent of circuit control, magnetic field.
2. Different structure composition
The rotor of the DC fan consists of the DC cooling fan blades. It is the source of air flow and the axis of the fan to balance the rotation of the fan blades. The internal structure of the AC fan is composed of two coils, one is the starting winding, the two coils are connected in series with each other, thus forming three points, the series point is the common end, the starting winding end is the starting end, the running winding end is the running end.
3. Different material characteristics
Dc fan is made of alloy material. It can be used for more than 50,000 hours. Dc internal structure has transformer and main control board will not be affected by voltage fluctuation, so its service life is long. The internal structure of ac fans is mainly transformer, and most of the data selected by AC fans are made of domestic electrodischarge needles, generally tungsten needles or stainless steel data. If the voltage fluctuates too much, it will affect the service life of the transformer.
